If you were watching El Clasico Indonesia yesterday and thought Persija had it in the bag after going ahead — well, that’s exactly how this rivalry works. One moment you’re celebrating, the next you’re watching Adam Alis score twice in ten minutes and wondering what just happened.
Final score, BRI Super League 2025/2026 Week 32: Persija Jakarta 1–2 Persib Bandung. Played at Stadion Segiri, Samarinda, Sunday May 10, 2026, kick-off 15:30 WIB.
Persija Strike First — But Not for Long
The match started at a high tempo. Neither side was interested in feeling each other out — both teams went straight for the throat from the opening whistle.
On the 20th minute, Alaaeddine Ajaraie put Persija ahead with a left-footed finish after weaving past Kakang Rudianto to beat Teja Paku Alam. A moment of individual brilliance — the kind of goal that makes defenders look like they’re standing still.
But the lead lasted just eight minutes.
Adam Alis pulled Persib level on the 28th minute, punishing a mistake from Van Basty Sousa to slot past Carlos Eduardo and make it 1-1. One defensive error, immediately punished.
Before Persija could reset, Adam Alis struck again. On the 38th minute, he completed his brace after latching onto a through ball from Thom Haye. Two goals in ten minutes. Persib led 2-1 going into half time.
Second Half: Persija Push Hard, Teja Paku Alam Stands Tall
Persija came out of the tunnel a different team. They had no choice — attack or go home.
On the 50th minute, Fabio Calonego fired a powerful effort from outside the box, but the ball slid just wide of the post. Close, but not close enough.
The physicality cranked up as the half wore on. Luciano Guaycochea picked up a yellow card for a hard foul, and Federico Barba followed with a booking of his own on the 64th minute. On the touchline, Persija’s assistant coach Italo Resende was sent to the stands after collecting two yellow cards for persistent protesting.
Ajaraie nearly pulled one back on the 76th minute with a fierce strike, but the ball flew just over the crossbar. Then on 82 minutes, he had another shot at goal — and Teja Paku Alam produced a brilliant save to deny him.
Deep into injury time, Allano and Bruno Tubarao both had dangerous chances, but Teja Paku Alam remained composed and consistent until the final whistle.
The score stayed at 2-1. Persib held on.
What This Means for the Table
This was not just three points. This result reshapes the entire title picture for the rest of the season.
Persib Bandung now sit on 75 points from 32 matches, three clear of second-placed Borneo FC. Persija Jakarta, meanwhile, are officially out of title contention — stuck in third place on 65 points with just two games remaining, unable to catch the teams above them.
The final two weeks of the season will decide whether the Super League trophy goes to Persib Bandung or Borneo FC.

Two Games Left. One Trophy Up for Grabs.
Three points ahead, two matches to go. Persib don’t need to be perfect — they just need to hold their nerve. After what they showed in Samarinda on Sunday, that looks very much within reach.
For Jakmania, this season is over. But El Clasico Indonesia never sleeps — and next year’s edition is already something to look forward to.
